According to the Metro. the girls made the announcement today (July 8) in a video released on their newly created YouTube account "Spice Girls - GEM" (which, we're guessing stands for Geri, Emma and Mel B). On Instagram, Halliwell recently shared a memory from the beginning of her days as a Spice Girl.
It's been 20 years since the Spice Girls burst onto the scene and in recent weeks rumours and reports have been building that the group plan to mark the occasion by returning to the stage. "And when we do, you're all invited".
As previously mentioned on the Inquisitr, fellow Spice Girls Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) and Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice) have opted out of slamming their bodies down and winding it all around for the celebratory rite of passage. The singer later added that the Spice Girl she most identified with was Halliwell, and said she was "truly heartbroken" when Halliwell left the group.
But, when asked about Melanie and Victoria's involvement, Mel appeared to skirt around the question, continuing: "You know what?"
Mel, pretended not to hear the questions being fired at her and answered: "No baby is in!"

On his future in politics, Cameron said, "I will watch these exchanges from the back benches...and will be willing you on". Her appointment came as she gave the Queen her hand and bent her knee in a traditional procedure known as "kissing hands".
"But what we decided was that we wanted to do it properly and put it out there".
"Extra's" Mario Lopez caught up with Mel at Universal Studios Hollywood, where she talked about the new venture, revealing, "We're kind of in the midst of figuring out some performances together".
Geri Halliwell penned a piece for Marie Claire, where she reveals how the stars aligned to land her a spot in the beloved girl group. "I was like, 'I want to get out.' It was a really important period of my life".
Having won that battle, they faced another challenge when it came to their famous music video, featuring the five in eclectic outfits dancing through the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
Still not giving anything away, Mel replied: "You know what?"
