Rapper Troy Ave expected to be released from hospital in Brooklyn

The hip-hop artist is recovering in hospital after the attack. "Dope boy Troy all good, Merry Christmas", Fif captioned the bedside picture of the Brooklyn rapper looking better than you would expect for a guy who was just shot at on Christmas. The Brooklyn-born MC was reportedly shot in the arm and was grazed in the head by a bullet, and is in stable condition.
The 31-year old MC is now at Brookdale Hospital, in stable condition. Longtime rap mentor 50 Cent visited the rapper at the hospital.
This week's shooting comes less than one year after Troy was shot during an altercation at a concert at New York City's Irving Plaza.
