Vancouver International Airport voted best airport in North America, breaks historic record

The Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) immigration service has been voted as the best in the world by airline passengers.
The prestigious World Airport Awards are a global benchmark of airport excellence.
The 2017 World Airport Awards are based on 13.82 million customer nominations across 105 nationalities of air travellers, with 550 airports worldwide taking part.
Based on the feedback of more than 2,000 passengers travelling through the airport, the results of the awards are purely based on their opinion, with no influence other than the provision of excellent services and a great airport experience.

Cincinnati finished as the highest-ranked US airport among the world's top 100 overall airport rankings, finishing 26th. The survey evaluates traveler experiences across different airport service and product performance indicators, from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration, through departures at the gate.
Singapore Changi and London Heathrow airports won were among the key winners at this year's Skytrax World Airport Awards in Amsterdam last night. Within the last four years we have climbed from the 75th position to the sixth position in the world airports ranking, which clearly demonstrates our commitment to continuously improve our services and facilities and to serve our customers' needs.
Recently, the airport was adjudged as the "World's Second Best Airport" in the "Over 40 million" category as well as in the Asia-Pacific region according to the ASQ Survey 2017 conducted by the Airports Council International (ACI). This win makes it the first and only airport to receive the top accolade for eight years in a row.
Singapore's Changi Airport was voted the number one airport for the fifth consecutive year. "Our goal is to create a complete experience for our customers and that involves modern facilities, a wide range of dining and shopping options and special amenities that help minimize the level of stress that potentially accompanies air travel".
