Tim Tebow homers twice, strikes out 5 times in 1st series

Tim Tebow was at it again on Sunday.

The former Gators QB has already hit two home runs in this very young minor league season, with his second coming on Sunday. That's the second home run in three games for Tebow.

For the season, Tebow's 12 official at-bats have yielded 2 hits, 3 runs, 5 RBI and 4 strikeouts. After blasting the ball during his first appearance at the plate, the ex-NFL star followed it up with a second home run during his third game!

Tebow, 29, is now one shy of Michael Jordan's home run total with Class AA Birmingham in 1994.

David Letterman replaces Neil Young at Rock Hall show
"You let me know". "For the singer who was flapping down the rafters and hanging off of bikes and jumping off of balconies". There were no Pearl Jam lunchboxes, but Eddie Vedder's appearance on the cover of Time magazine hastened some backlash.

Plenty of mocked Tebow for taking a shot at professional baseball, but he hasn't exactly fallen flat on his face out there.

"May we once and for all end the argument that Tebow is taking up the roster spot for a real baseball player?"

And so the question becomes when the Mets will move him up in their farm system.

The 2007 Heisman Trophy victor didn't wait to work up the count this time. He's also struck out five times and left 13 runners on base.
