Defoe, 34, has scored 14 of Sunderland's 26 goals in the Premier League this season and boss David Moyes has confirmed the England global has an escape clause in his contract, with West Brom considering a move.
"Other teams have more money than us but we just focus on ourselves". Nowhere near everyone else.
Burnley were without the influential centre-back partnership of Ben Mee and Michael Keane for their match with West Brom, but Dyche was delighted with the performances of Kevin Long and James Tarkowski in their stead. It's the way this club has to work.
"But it was a penalty, I've seen it back, Barnesy gets tripped and gets his shirt pulled".
But Salomon Rondon's first goal in 19 games - and West Brom's first in six matches - levelled matters and Craig Dawson, on his 27th birthday, headed the Baggies in front from a corner 12 minutes from time.
Sean Dyche's side are already a subject of interest to Irish audiences having added two of Martin O'Neill's most important players to their ranks over the course of the last two transfer windows, spending a combined £25m on Jeff Hendrick and Robbie Brady.
Now West Brom boss Tony Pulis has admitted that the Baggies are interested in bringing Taylor to the Hawthorns, although they are wary that it won't be a straightforward affair.
Nintendo Offers Bright Outlook on Expectations for Switch
The new handheld hardware features the new C stick and ZL and ZR buttons the gaming company introduced on the new 3DS XL hardware. Nintendo has revealed the New Nintendo 2DS XL, which will arrive in Australia/NZ on June 15 and the U.S. on July 28.
"When Burnley went ahead it was the first time we looked exposed on that side of the pitch", said Pulis.
He said: "If you're a fan of one club, you might say it's not the football we want to watch". In the previous five there's no way you could criticise the way we played or their effort.
The fact Rondon was the one who scored their first goal in nearly nine hours was also appreciated.
"As soon as I heard it, I thought: 'Stay up playing the wrong way.' I couldn't believe what I was hearing".
"Hal (Robson-Kanu) is injured at the moment and Salomon has had to take the responsibility and really carry the teams at times when he could have done with a bit of a break".
"He's kept going. We have two strikers". In training and in games he never stops. "Hopefully that perks him up".
