Terminal A at Newark Airport reopens after suspicious package cleared

Port Authority Police tweeted that Terminal A is being evacuated after a pressure cooker was found inside.

A suspicious package has forced the partial evacuation of a terminal at Newark Liberty International Airport. K-9 units and local police are also on the scene.

Newark Liberty on this holiday weekend, filled with people, when authorities found a suspicious package.

A Port Authority police officer looked into the bag and saw that it "looked like a pressure cooker", the source said.
