Arsenal is bringing back Arsene Wenger, and fans are not happy

Arsene Wenger will attend an Arsenal board meeting created to resolve his future on Tuesday having already agreed the terms of a new two-year contract at the club as long ago as November, sources have told ESPN FC.

Chelsea was the clear favorite coming into the FA Cup final, but a poor start saw the league champion going down 1-0 in the fourth minute.

"Our ambition is to win the Premier League and other major trophies in Europe".

Wenger has been heavily criticised this season, with Arsenal fans calling for his resignation after their team failed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years.

Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker has revealed details about how he and Rob Holding "went to work" on Chelsea striker Diego Costa in Saturday's FA Cup final. I don't blame the Arsenal board for offering him a new deal, I blame him for choosing to stay on, ' Cascarino wrote in The Times.

Arsenal have not qualified for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years - and many would believe an FA Cup triumph would be the flawless parting point, allowing Wenger to go out on a high and a successor to usher in the new era.

Wenger's future has been up in the air for much of the season as both he and the club refused to publicly announce their intentions.

Policies on healthcare, taxes, immigration, education and Arsene Wenger are probably the five most important points in any party's manifesto.

Egypt says air strikes destroy militant camps after attack on Christians
He prayed "for our brothers, Egyptian Christian Copts who were killed because they did not want to renounce their faith". Friday's attack followed two suicide bombings of churches in April that killed 45 Copts.

Wenger was also dismissive of the notion that his record-breaking FA Cup success, after previous wins in 1998, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2014 and 2015, might have an impact on the talks about his position.

I was in great form and it was a shame I didn't start the game.

But hey, almost a couple of weeks on from the end of the Premier League season, things are already looking up for Gooners everywhere.

The Wenger debate has divided the club's supporters this season, creating what Wenger describes as a "hostile" environment which has effected his players.

"The best presentation is to watch the game", he said.

"I just want to do well for the club".

Wenger, who has been in charge at Arsenal for 21 years, is yet to reveal whether he will sign an extension to the contract that expires at the end of the season.

"But, at Arsenal, he's got total dominance". The more people that write me off, the stronger I get.
