London Bridge Witnesses Tell LBC 12-Inch Blades And Gunfire

A van plowed into pedestrians on London Bridge and two people were stabbed at a nearby cafe Saturday night, in what London police called "terrorist incidents".
One witness told Reuters that she saw what appeared to be three people with knife wounds and possibly their throats cut.
He told Sky News: "It was about 10.15pm I was in the back of an Uber cab driving over London Bridge.there was somebody down on the pavement with a small crowd around them clearly very concerned".
London's transport authority said London Bridge rail station had been closed at the request of the police.The police were urging the public to run to a place of safety and hide if they can not."Please remain calm, but be alert and vigilant".
People run down Borough High Street as police are dealing with a "major incident" at London Bridge in London.
The force has tweeted a warning telling people in the area to run to safety, hide and then call police if it is safe to do so. "I don't know what to do".
Witnesses have reported seeing injured people on the ground on the bridge. "They kept coming to try to stab me ... they were stabbing everyone".

The BBC reports police say there is more than one fatality following the three separate incidents. The patrons sheltered in the basement and police then arrived at the scene, the witness said.
Police are treating injured people and carrying them away at the end Thrale Street.
Sky News Home Affairs Editor Mark White said: "Certainly reports we're getting suggest that this may be terror related but that is not being confirmed by police at this stage".
Claire witnessed the London Bridge terror attack. It is not clear if these were controlled explosions by police on the scene.
NPR's Frank Langfitt says that the bridge is closed in both directions and that officials are asking people to stay away from the area.
Phaldip Singh, who describes himself as an entrepreneur and youth activist, tweeted that Sikh Gurdwaras were open to provide food and shelter for those affected by the attacks.
England has been under heightened alert since a bomb was detonated at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester nearly two weeks ago, killing 22 and wounding more than 100 as they left the venue.

Grande visited victims of the bombing in the hospital Saturday and is scheduled to perform at a star-studded benefit concert in Manchester on Sunday.
