Players will vote on critical choices using their smartphones, with the game giving different players hidden agendas they need to complete behind their companions' backs. PlayLink refers to a new initiative to make games more social, citing Until Dawn as inspiration.
Sony says your mobile device's touch-ready display, cameras, and sensors will be leveraged for "an exciting new way to play games with family and friends" on multiple screens.
Sony Playlink works by connecting smartphones to the PlayStation 4 machine and the phones turn out to be the flawless controllers.
The game uses Playstation's newly announced PlayLink for PS4 - a phone app that enables players to use their smartphones as a controller, in the style of Jackbox games. "No matter which title you choose from our PlayLink collection, it's guaranteed to be a slick pick-up-and-play experience". PlayLink, a new format for the popular brand, aims to merge mobile and traditional gaming.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says Lions have to start winning
That's been challenging for all of us. "Touring with the Lions is very tough and a test of character". They have six internationals in that pack so we knew it would be a tasty game.
Supermassive Games have already announced two new PSVR games at Sony's E3 2017 press conference, but it also revealed another upcoming title called Hidden Agenda. It looks like similar horror thrills will be found in Hidden Agenda, only this time, a group of players will be part of the decision making process, and each of them will be privy to unique information delivered to their handsets.
Titles include That's You!, Hidden Agenda, Frantics, SingStar Celebration and Knowledge Is Power. This particular game will be released for free to all PlayStation Plus subscribers come July 4th.
If you're looking for party games, you can now use your PS4 as the hub for PlayLink.
