Derrick Rose In Talks To Join Cavs On 1-Year Deal

One of the biggest names still out there is Derrick Rose, who reportedly is in serious talks to join the Cleveland Cavaliers. Neither of which would move the dial much, especially not against competition like the Golden State Warriors.

Veteran point guard and former NBA MVP Derrick Rose met with the Lakers on Thursday, per ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

The Cavaliers signed free agent Jose Calderon last month as a backup to All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving.

Private Lenders Struggle to Prove Ownership of Student Loans in Court
The trust organization is facing trouble proving in court that it has the legal paperwork to prove ownership of its loans. These private loans were not guaranteed by the federal government, which is the nation's largest student loan lender.

Although, having Rose attack relentlessly off the bench when, say LeBron is resting, is exactly what this team needed last season.

Chicago traded the former MVP to the New York Knicks in June of 2016. Over his career, he averaged 19 points and 6.5 assists. Being compared to this star caliber player is phenomenal and it shows that he can still get to the paint with his speed. Past year with the Knicks, Rose averaged 18 points a game with 3.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 64 games, shooting 47 percent from the field. Rose shot 47.1 percent, which was his best shooting percentage since his 2009-10 sophomore campaign with the Bulls. But the 28-year-old guard battled nagging back injuries before a partially torn meniscus in early April shut a fruitless Knicks season down.

Fans can only wish him the best as he wants to continue playing under his own power.
