Poch lines up exciting Tottenham striker deal amid interest from Euro giants

Kelechi Iheanacho's move to Leicester City is very close to completion, with Sky Sports reporting that there is an agreement in principle for the Nigerian striker to join the Foxes in a deal worth around £25million.

Manchester City Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho will seal a £29m move to Leicester City on Thursday on a four year deal.

The 20-year-old is attracting plenty of interest this summer after being allowed to leave City, with European giants Monaco and Borussia Dortmund also said to be tracking him.

Iheanacho's signing would undoubtedly go down as Leicester City's best coup this summer, unless, of course, they somehow manage to buy Gylfi Sigurdsson for what would be a club record £40 million.

With City's constant pursuit of Spurs right-back Kyle Walker, the Sun are reporting that City could be set to offer Iheanacho to Spurs in a player-plus-cash deal for the England global.

It remains to be seen if City decide to sell Iheanacho to Tottenham, who finished above Guardiola's men last season.

The 20 year old will have his medicals on Wednesday when he returns back to England after he was given extended break by coach Pep Guardiola due to his engagement in global matches with Nigeria during the off season.

But after a disappointing season in which the former CR Belouizdad striker scored just eight goals, Leicester are reportedly looking to cut their loses and move for the precocious Man City forward.
