There have been few details about the nature of what exactly ails Ric "Nature Boy" Flair, but his manager tweeted Saturday that the former pro wrestler is "awake, communicating and progressing". "I have been by his side since Friday and will continue to make sure he is getting the best care possible (sic)" Wendy's statement came shortly after Melinda Morris Zanoni, of Legacy Talent and Entertainment, which represents Ric, confirmed his surgery was a "success".

She also said reports he had colon surgery - which appear to have originated on social media from longtime wrestling announcer Gene Okerlund - were incorrect.
Sports Illustrated reported on Thursday that Flair had an intestinal blockage which resulted in a part of his bowel being removed.
