Taiwan's Chan Hao-ching and partner trounced in US Open final

After winning the mixed doubles title with a 6-1, 4-6, 10-8 victory over New Zealand's Michael Venus and Chan's younger sister, Hao-Ching, Hingis was asked whether the partnership with Murray would continue into next year.

Hingis, already a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and Murray are 10-0 as a duo.

Murray, the older brother of two-time Wimbledon champion Andy, won his third Grand Slam mixed doubles title.

Stephens said she met Altidore, who plays for the USA national team, in fifth grade.

It is Hingis' second U.S. Open mixed doubles crown in three years and seventh mixed title overall. They will do the same now, though if Hingis decides to keep playing after turning 37 at the end of this month, it sounds as if it will be with Murray.

Coach Paterno had prior knowledge Sandusky was child sex abuser: police report
McQueary, according to the police report obtained via a source by CNN, reported that Paterno appeared to tear up at the news. Spanier and two other former aides were sentenced to prison for failing to report Sandusky's behavior.

"He texted me and said well done", he told reporters. Asked during her press conference about her emotions, Keys joked that "I think drinks will help me through this tough time".

Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis continued their spectacular 2017 as they secured a dramatic victory in the US Open mixed doubles final.

"Obviously a lot of money has been pumped into the Grand Slams over the last few years and people are making a lot more money than they used to, but a majority of that is going into the singles game", Murray said.

Hingis, who reached No. 1 in the rankings and won five Grand Slam singles titles in the 1990s, initially quit tennis in 2002 because of foot and leg injuries, then rejoined the circuit full-time in 2006.

The Kiwi bounced back by unleashing four straight wins with Chan, the world's 12th-ranked women's doubles player. She had surgery in January and returned to the tour in July. It's been a lot of fun.
