'He came back not really fit, it took us time to get him back and then he got injured'. I just try to get him back to full fitness and for me the Europa League and the League Cup is important, as well. 'Last night you could see that he is coming back sharp now'.

West brom started the season with back to back wins but have since struggled with two losses and two draws including their loss midweek to Manchester City in the league cup.

Wenger added: "I chose the team at Chelsea who can be strong on the counterattack and fight very hard and Sanchez could have played if he was 100 percent fit at the start, but for me there's no real hierarchy".

And Wenger believes Aaron Ramsey is ready to show his best form after a solid display against Chelsea.
