Simpson's Malcolm LaVergne said there's "no doubt" Simpson is going to Florida. She watched Simpson sign paperwork shortly before being freed.
He could be seen responding "OK" as he left through an open door, wearing a baseball cap, denim jacket, jeans and white tennis shoes.
David Cook, attorney for the Goldman family, said on Wednesday the judgment amount has almost doubled with interest over the years to more than US$65m and the family will continue to seek payment.

Simpson was released a few minutes after midnight in a bid by authorities to reduce publicity.
Simpson was jailed in 2008 after a botched raid aimed at stealing sports memorabilia.
Florida corrections officials say they had not received a parole transfer request for Simpson and had not been contacted by their counterparts in Nevada.
No details could be found on Simpson's location in the prison system, which State Department of Corrections spokeswoman Brooke Keast said usually indicates that an inmate is being moved in custody.

Ms Keast said the dead-of-night release from the prison about 145 kilometres east of Reno, Nevada, was conducted to avoid media attention.
Simpson had been at Lovelock after being convicted of armed robbery in 2007 in Las Vegas.
The 70 year old told the parole board that he wanted to live in Florida, and faces parole supervision for another five years.
