O.J. Simpson headed to Las Vegas, the city where he was arrested for armed robbery a decade ago, upon his release from a Nevada prison early on Sunday, ABC News has confirmed. Simpson may have been born in California, but he has Florida roots and now that he's been released from prison, there's one person in particular who doesn't want him in the Sunshine State.
Simpson wore a blue baseball-style cap, blue denim trousers and a jacket, and white sneakers as he walked through a door to freedom after a prison guard said: "Here you go". During his highly publicized parole hearing, the four Nevada parole board commissioners present unanimously voted for his early release, citing the support Simpson had from his family and his disciplinary-free record while in prison, where he also took anti-violence classes. The former Buffalo Bills player will have to adhere to the conditions set by the Nevada parole board, which include banning him from consuming alcohol in large quantities or hanging out with ex-convicts or people who engage in criminal activity. LaVergne says Simpson wants to see his family and enjoy "the very simple pleasures" of life, including eating seafood and steak and getting a new iPhone.
Two of Simpson's children, Justin and Sydney, also live in Florida.

It was reported that Simpson left the facility on Sunday morning in denim and white sneakers. A Florida corrections spokeswoman, Ashley Cook, said her agency has not received a transfer request or documents about Simpson.
Simpson submitted a parole release plan for a residence in Las Vegas, according to a statement from the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation. The trial involving OJ Simpson at the time was known around the world. Simpson declined to be interviewed, saying he had done nothing since his release but sit in a vehicle for five hours.
"She's the attorney general, she has nothing to do with it", Lavergne said. Along with a handful of accomplices, the former star broke into the room of a couple of sports memorabilia dealers.
Bondi is troubled by Simpson's background, citing his 1995 trial for the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. Two of his companions were armed, leading the court to give him a prison sentence in 2008.
