Blue Ivy, 6, bids $19K on a piece of art

So, when she made an appearance at the second annual Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles, the singer picked a glittering gold gown by Indian designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock.

The famed daughter of JAY-Z and Beyoncé may only be six years old, but she's already fast becoming a MAJOR art dealer - at least based on what went down for the little girl this weekend!

Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy Carter created a viral moment when she threw up bids at an art auction to the tune of United States dollars 19,000.

Blue made sure she was the centre of attention by bidding $19,000 on a painting at the auction, with her parents hurriedly pushing down her paddle. Even though Jay-Z jokingly fought for the bidding paddle, he ultimately lost to his daughter's wishes. Blue Ivy was filmed at a recent auction attempting to get in on the action.

SA considers last-gasp appeal for Kagiso Rabada
Rabada was named the man of the match after claiming 11 wickets in South Africa's comfortable second Test win in Port Elizabeth . South Africa will hope Philander's impact will swell due to his return to Cape Town, his most successful Test venue.

Of course, Blue Ivy was only playing around but the Beyhive on Twitter was fainting at how the six-year-old princess was bidding for $19k art without a care in the world. "I said, 'Oh, I'm gonna teach you a lesson today!,'" Perry laughed recalling his thought process in going hard against the first grader.

"There is something that feels very off about receiving this award from my mother", she joked in her acceptance speech for their Humanitarian Award.

Blue continues to raise her hand for her next bid though and Jay looks seriously nervous as he gives a strained smile and tries to pull her hand down.

The event was staged to benefit the WACO (Where Art Can Occur) Theater Center, which provides teen mentorship programmes and a place where individuals are encouraged to use their self-expression through art and drama.
