Jennifer Garner responds to viral Oscars memes

JENNIFER Garner has become the meme queen of the 2018 Oscars after her shocked facial expression went viral.

The first time, she joked: "Congrats to Shape of Water!".

While the real reason for her mood swing will remain a mystery, Garner's lighthearted response won her even more fans, with the video's original poster, Jezebel writer Bobby Finger, tweeting: "I can't believe she memed herself".

"Hey Jimmy Kimmel, what's in your wallet? Wait, where is my wallet?" she said. "Wait, did I sign a nudity waiver?" she continued.

Jennifer's Instagram quip was referring to the fact that she is starring on the Camping remake, and that Lena frequently got naked while leading the cast of Girls.

Meet The Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Mascots
Names of the mascots will be announced this summer, officials said. "I want to tell this to my beloved wife". Japan has life-size characters, Yuru-kyara, representing nearly everything.

Her explanation did not stop social media users from coming up with other humorous explanations. She was promptly meme'd.

That tweet has since racked up almost 30,000 retweets, over 156,000 likes and more than 3,000 replies from fans, many of whom chimed in with guesses about what Garner was thinking.

Jennifer Garner has hilariously responded to her viral Oscars meme, in which she looks stunned over something prolific.

Garner also made sure she was getting her new project out there, but with a twist. On Monday, the actress jokingly offered a few possibilities for what she could have been thinking about. At some point during the Oscars on Sunday, while everyone is laughing, she has a profound revelation that she's keeping from the rest of us, perhaps for our own protection.

She's signed on to star with Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner in the eight episode series for HBO and production is set to start shortly.
