'Avengers: Infinity War' Directors Get Thanos to Demand Fans Not Share Spoilers

A few notable characters, such as the missing-in-action Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and the villainous Thanos (Josh Brolin), are missing from this new bundle of promotional images, but they may be revealed at a later date.

Avengers: Infinity War is headed for the history books if Hollywood has anything to say about it.

Marvel and IMAX will make cinematic history with Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War, which marks the first Hollywood film entirely shot using IMAX cameras. Unfortunatley, it's a sorry indictment of the state of fandom that they're having to do this, but that's the way social media has changed things.

The survey done by exhibitors shows the Joe and Anthony Russo-helmed film earned a gargantuan 42 score for unaided awareness, that is, movies which fans mention without being prompted.

Interestingly, a subset of Marvel fans claims to have spotted Ant-Man in the newest Avengers: Infinity War poster released by IMAX.

The next Avengers movie, Infinity War, opens later this month-and it's expected to have one of the best openings in the history of movies.

"We will be visiting fans all over the world screening only a limited amount of selected footage from the film in order to avoid spoiling the story for future viewers", they wrote.

Marvel has gone to great lengths to prevent any spoilers from the film leaking out ahead of its release and the only time the movie will be screened from start to finish ahead of April 27 will be during the Los Angeles premiere just before it lands in theaters across the globe. Today, IMAX unveiled exclusive art for the highly anticipated film featuring "everyone's favorite heroes" including Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, and more ... except for the Avengers that have yet to appear in any official marketing material so far, of course.

Indeed, the Russos recently took time to reply to - and seemingly affirm - a tweet that speculated that the mystery title of Avengers 4 should scare audiences regarding what happens in the stakes-heavy Infinity War (we certainly already knew the title of Infinity War by this point a year ago).
