Hannity denies being represented by Cohen as court drama unfolds

U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood ordered Cohen's attorney Steve Ryan to share Cohen's client list after hearing that Cohen had worked for 10 clients since 2017.

The legal showdown began last week when FBI agents searched Cohen's office, home, hotel room and safe-deposit box, seizing records and documents as part of a probe by federal prosecutors in NY into possible bank fraud and wire fraud.

The raid sought information including on a $130,000 payment made to Daniels, who alleges she had sex with a married Trump in 2006. Cohen has long described himself as an attorney for Trump but has for years filled a more wide-ranging role as a general troubleshooter.

Trumps lawyers say they also want some form of prior review. "Ahahahahahahhahaahha. If this happened in a movie, you'd think it was poorly written". Some see Trump's lawyer as overzealous bully. "We are devoting a large amount of resources to the whole case but, in particular, to our filter team to get this review done very quickly".

As a first step, the judge said the Government should put the documents in a searchable database to determine which should come under review. Denying an objection by Hendon, the judge ruled federal investigators could obtain the statistical data without examining the underlying content. They argued that the client's identity should remain sealed to preserve his privacy and avoid subjecting him to embarrassment.

As news broke of the court revelation on Monday, Hannity remarked on his radio program that he learned of the court news by seeing it on Fox.

"As to the one unnamed legal client, we do not believe that Mr. Cohen should be asked to reveal the name or can permissibly do so", the lawyers added.

Real Madrid vs Juventus : Ronaldo dismisses Juve protests
A day after seeing Spanish rival Barcelona blow a three-goal advantage against Roma in Italy, Madrid almost did the same. Real conceded the opener after just 76 seconds, the fastest they have ever conceded at home in the Champions League .

A prosecutor says Donald Trump's personal attorney isn't being forthcoming about his law practice. "That's not enough", she said. "Michael never represented me in any matter", Hannity said. "But we're going to let them sort that out".

"I've known Michael a long, long time".

He said he had assumed those discussions were covered by attorney-client privilege, and emphasized that they were never about matters involving "any third party". "I never retained his services".

Cohen, his lawyer disclosed, represents Hannity along with Trump and Elliot Broidy, the prominent Los Angeles-based Republican fundraiser. "Now, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reportedly seized records related to Cohen's payment to this porn star Stormy Daniels, among other items".

Indeed, while CNN and MSNBC seized on the news with rapturous zeal, the right-wing mediaverse was spectacularly silent on the Cohen-Hannity question. "All lawyers are deflated and concerned". Neither Hannity nor Harrison spelled out what sort of discussions or legal work Cohen did for the conservative TV host. "Such a rule is unworkable and ripe for abuse", wrote Robert Khuzami, deputy U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of NY.

Stephen Colbert returned just in time to revel in the ongoing legal troubles for Michael Cohen, aka President Donald Trump's lawyer. "He is radioactive", Avenatti reiterated.

Mr Cohen has admitted to paying $US130,000 to Daniels in 2016, and she has also claimed a man sent to dissuade her from speaking about her relationship with Mr Trump threatened her daughter. "He trusted him with his innermost secrets, and I think the chickens are coming home to roost".
