Liverpool have one foot in the Champions League semi finals after a 3-0 win over Premier League rivals Manchester City in the quarter final first leg on Wednesday.

Liverpool FC now turn their attentions back towards Premier League affairs and their crunch clash against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime. That was enough for me to not even ask the doctor how he was.

Liverpool's Egyptian global then set-up Sadio Mane to head home a third goal as the Reds put one foot in the semi-finals of the Champions League with an impressive victory over the Premier League champions-elect.

The Reds are already without Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Joel Matip, with Jordan Henderson suspended for the second leg at the Etihad, but Salah was again spotted by eagle-eyed fans appearing to tell Klopp that he was "fine". Klopp also hinted Danny Ings will start against the Toffees on Saturday, affording Roberto Firmino a rest ahead of the return trip to Manchester.

"I don't have too much to say", added Klopp, whose side sit third in the table.
