Neither Obama Nor Trump Will Be Invited To The Royal Wedding

Some world leaders may still be invited to the wedding based on their personal relationship with the royal couple and not in their official capacity, the Palace source added.
Amelia, along with nearly 1,200 other people who have made "notable contributions to the local community", will be joined by 200 guests from charities the royal couple work with, as well as 100 local school pupils and 500 members of the royal household. Her Majesty's Government was consulted.
There had been speculation about whether President Obama would be invited since he is close to Prince Harry.
The sampling of Harry and Markle's invited guests released Tuesday reflect the couple's charitable interests, especially former Army captain Harry's advocacy for wounded veterans. While the former president and first lady were not asked to attend Prince William and Kate Middleton's 2011 wedding, the Obamas have established a friendship with Prince Harry over the years.

Some 1,200 members of the public will be among the crowds allowed into the grounds of Windsor Castle to share in the atmosphere of the royal wedding.
Harry and Markle had asked the lord lieutenants to select those members of the public, including social activists, people serving the community, and young leaders.
