Tales of Vesperia Remaster to Release This Winter

But we were proven wrong, because during Microsoft's presentation at E3 the trailer for Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition was shown. Tales of Vesperia originally released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The remastered release will contain additional characters and content.

Follow Yuri Lowell, a resident in the Lower Quarter of Zaphias and former Imperial Knight, as he accepts a mission to retrieve a stolen Blastia Core used to regulate his neighborhood's water supply.

As for a release window, Namco would only commit to "Winter 2018". In the succeeding events, Yuri finds himself in the middle of a wicked plot that threatens to destroy the whole planet.

Tales fans, rejoice! What we once thought would never happen no matter how much we cried has become a reality: Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition is definitely happening. Tales of Vesperia is preceded in the series by Tales of Berseria, which launched on PlayStation 4 in January 2017. Players control a single party member in real-time combat while the other three party members are controlled by a customized set of A.I. commands.

Tales of Vesperia is one of the best role-playing games in the last decade. Like the title suggests, this is the definitive way to play Tales of Vesperia.

Bandai Namco Europe confirmed the information on Twitter by saying the remaster would coming to all platforms, would contain "content of the PS3 version for the first time in Europe", and feature both Japanese and English voice overs. In total the games have shipped over 16 million copies.
