A police report claims Jonathan Crenshaw clutched a pair of scissors between his feet and stabbed the 22-year-old twice in his arm.

The publication has profiled Crenshaw in the past and found he has had multiple run-ins with police and other officials, including violent crime charges.

Crenshaw told police he was lying down when Coronado approached him and punched him in the head.

Coronado, a tourist visiting from Chicago, and a friend told police that Coronado had only asked for directions before the alleged attack, the Miami New Times reports. He was taken to a local hospital after officers found him lying on the floor. After stabbing him, he says he placed the scissors in his waistband and walked away from the scene.
