"The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it's TRUE", Trump tweeted from his Bedminster golf resort in New Jersey.
In case you missed it, Trump lashed out over the weekend about the media reporting on the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting, a meeting attended by the likes of Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner. If this story wasn't about Jr. seeking dirt, it would've been about Trump campaign officials meeting with a Russian lawyer who is lobbying against US-imposed sanctions on Russia.
U.S. President Donald Trump, in the midst of a working vacation, unleashed a new barrage of attacks on the national news media Sunday, saying it was "very unsafe & sick!"
It is his most direct statement so far on the reason for Donald Trump Jr's meeting with Kremlin-linked lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in June 2016.
"We also know that Hillary Clinton paid through a law firm eventually with Kremlin-connected sources to gather information on Donald Trump".
"The question is what law, statute or rule or regulation has been violated and nobody has pointed to one", Sekulow said Sunday. Trump's tweet reveals that he lied previous year when he personally dictated a statement, released by his son, Donald Trump Jr., which claimed the meeting was mostly about USA adoption of Russian children.
U.S. commentators have argued that Mr Trump's new admission that the meeting was to gain information about Mrs Clinton shows that the earlier statement was misleading.

Ties between North Atlantic Treaty Organisation ally Turkey and the United States have been strained by other issues. Pompeo announced additional aid for a region of Iraq previously held by the Islamic State group.
In a tweet early Sunday morning, Trump said the meeting was arranged "to get information on an opponent", and is "totally legal".
Russian Federation has repeatedly denied claims it interfered in the November 2016 presidential elections, where Mr Trump defeated Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
But here's the thing: This is a tweet about how the Trump Tower meeting was totally fine - nothing illegal to see here. Sekulow added that he has "no knowledge" of the president's son testifying to the special counsel's grand jury or being told that he is a "target", which is an official designation the Justice Department would use to tell someone that they are likely to be indicted.
Cohen has indicated that he would tell prosecutors that Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting ahead of time.
"I had bad information at that time", the lawyer said.
He called the "Fake" media "very unsafe and sick".
Russian President Vladimir Putin has denied allegations by US intelligence agencies that his government meddled and Trump denies collusion, describing the Mueller investigation as a political witch hunt that should be shut down.
In another, he expressed frustration with both the media and Mueller's probe.
