District Attorney's office hits Bill Cosby with $43K bill

Dickinson was one of six accusers, along with Constand, to take the stand at the retrial which saw Cosby convicted of sexual assault, and sentenced Tuesday to a minimum of three years in prison.

Cosby's defense team has raised the racial issue before, in 2016, before quickly scrapping it.

He received an inmate number upon entering prison: NN7687. "Finally, Bill Cosby has been unmasked, and we've seen the real man as he's headed off to prison".

Outside the courtroom, Cosby's publicist, Andrew Wyatt, delivered an insane condemnation of the verdict, comparing Cosby's situation with that of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who he says, like Cosby, is the victim of a "sex war that Judge O'Neill, along with his wife, are apart of". "Instead of being able to run, jump and pretty much do anything I wanted physically, during the assault I was paralyzed and completely helpless", she recalled.

Before the assault, Constand says in a victim impact statement that she was a confident, spirited 30-year-old athlete. Wyatt didn't focus on Andrea Constand who testified about Cosby having "crushed" her "young and attractive spirit".

SC also has ordered more evacuations as rivers continue to rise in the aftermath of a storm that has claimed at least 43 lives. A stretch of I-95 closed in the southeastern part of the state around Lumberton after Florence made landfall on September 14.

The judge ultimately sentenced Cosby to three to 10 years in prison and ruled that he is a 'sexually violent predator, ' meaning that he must undergo lifetime counseling and report quarterly to authorities.

Cosby's lawyers asked that he be allowed to remain free on bail while he appeals his conviction, but the judge appeared incredulous over the request and ordered him locked up immediately, saying that "he could quite possibly be a danger to the community". "If that's what they've got, it's beyond a Hail Mary". Cosby said that they had taken his cane, tie, and shoelaces because "they think I will harm myself". First he leads in with a play-by-play account of his reception, then we hear of Cosby's first outgoing phone call, and before long the conversation towards a testament of racial and gender discriminatory injustice. He has faced a barrage of similar accusations from more than 60 women over the past five decades, but Constand's case is the only one that went to trial. The $400 million prison opened two months ago.

Wyatt, in Norristown, also claimed that the district attorney in Montgomery County outside Philadelphia used "falsified evidence against Dr. Cosby". He offered some form of mentorship before plying them with drugs or alcohol in a place he controlled, such as a hotel room or his own home, to facilitate sexual assault.

Sixty women have accused Cosby of sexual abuse.
