Former England manager Glenn Hoddle ill

Glenn Hoddle has been taken to hospital after having fallen seriously ill on Saturday and, while his condition is classified as serious, the former England manager is responding well to treatment.
BT's afternoon live scores show was cancelled as a result of Hoddle's illness but the channel did show the evening Premier League match between Leicester and West Ham.
Other sports personalities were quick to react to the news, and send their best wishes to Glenn.
"Our friend & colleague Glenn Hoddle was taken seriously ill at the BT Sport studio this morning".
"The condition is serious but Glenn is now receiving specialist treatment and responding well". Thoughts are with him and his family. "They have also asked to respect their privacy at this time".

The broadcaster Jake Humphrey said that Hoddle, who is celebrating his 61st birthday today, was taken "seriously ill" on Saturday morning. "Get well soon, Glenn Hoddle, we're all behind you".

Hoddle picked up 53 caps for his country during an illustrious career and went on to manage his country during the 1998 World Cup in France.
Hoddle has had a turbulent private life and split from his second wife, Vanessa, in 2015 after 15 years of marriage.
