R&Flee: R. Kelly Accusers Believe R. Kelly May Leave Country Amid Investigations

Speaking of Joycelyn Savage, reportedly R. Kelly's current manager, Don Russell, has been harassing her family as well.

Russell called Savage while the officer was there and Savage put the phone on speaker so the officer could listen, the police report says. An unconfirmed police dispatch report indicated someone called 911 claiming there was an outstanding warrant. But there is no arrest warrant for Kelly and no criminal investigation into him by Chicago authorities, police said.

Griggs told FOX 5 News that in the past few days, very senior members of the D.A.'s office have contacted Griggs regarding witness information in the case.

While Kelly was singing about not wanting to hurt anybody during his birthday party at the nightclub, activists gathered outside his West Side recording studio, marching for the young women they claim he sexually abused.

"Ten and a half years after he was found innocent (at trial of child pornography charges) and to fill reality TV time - someone comes up with another round of stories", he said. The accusations against the 52-year-old were reignited after the six hour docu-series, "Surviving R. Kelly", aired on Lifetime. The Savages say they haven't heard from Joycelyn in two years. She said that so far, families of two alleged victims have come forward. "I feel compelled to do something".

But he said North Korea would seek a new path if the USA misjudged its patience and insisted on unilateral demands. He said there would be faster progress on denuclearisation if the United States took corresponding action.

While no charges have now been brought in Kelly's other residence of Chicago, Cook County state attorney Kim Foxx held a press conference on Tuesday to encourage any victims to "please come forward".

The Savage family has now set up a hotline along with Griggs for witnesses and victims to come forward at 678-744-3185.

The city action in court Thursday is exclusively to try to gain access to the building for an inspection - not for anything related to any criminal case, McCaffrey said.

According to TMZ, investigators from Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Georgia contacted a number of Kelly's alleged victims after Lifetime aired the special. A BuzzFeed report published in 2017 from Chicago music critic Jim DeRogatis, who has investigated Kelly for more than a decade, renewed public interest in allegations against the musician.

Kelly did more than just step in the name of love at his birthday celebration party in Chicago.
