'Insulted' Ariana Grande Reportedly Dropping Out Of Grammys

Ariana Grande will no longer be in attendance at the 2019 Grammys.

However, Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich later insisted that it's not possible to host everyone on their own, even though the "Royals" singer - who still attended the ceremony - had a "great record" in "Melodrama".

An insider claims that Grande felt, "insulted" after Grammy producers wouldn't let her perform her new song, 7 Rings, which dropped three weeks ago.

Ariana is up for two gongs at the awards this Sunday - Best Pop Solo Performance for God is a Woman and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.

However, she pulled out altogether when they said she couldn't choose the second song.

Yossi Adler said he's frustrated and wants to know the real reason they were forced off the plane . Adler quickly responded. "I said you kicked me off because of religious reasons".

Representatives for the Recording Academy and Grande did not immediately respond to HuffPost's request for comment.

Variety has reported that the Grammys have lost out on having one of the most popular artists today perform at their show after a disagreement. Variety reports that the decision came after Grande and producers sparred over which songs she would perform on this Sunday's telecast.

During an interview with Billboard a year ago, Ariana made it very clear that she is not a pushover in the industry.

She is also planning on dropping a brand new album on 8 February - two days before the ceremony - which has been teased by two tracks that have broken records everywhere, Thank U Next and 7 Rings.

Grande's absence from the awards would be a noticeable one, as the pop star has been at the forefront of public consciousness for much of the past year due to multiple personal events as well as a new level of professional success.
