'Space Jam 2' Starring LeBron James Set to Premiere July 16, 2021

"Space Jam 2" will premiere on July 16, 2021, James' production company, SpringHill Entertainment, announced on Twitter.

The third untitled Annabelle film also gets a new release date for this year of June 28, 2019, from a previous release date of the Fourth of July.

Warner Bros set a release date for one sequel tonight and moved up a couple of its franchise pics. We're not sure what the plot of Space Jam 2 is, but we wouldn't be surprised if it's along the same lines, maybe even involving a rematch of some kind.

For years, fans have been joking about a possible sequel to the hit live-action/animation hybrid film starring National Basketball Association star Michael Jordan alongside the beloved characters of the Looney Tunes, Space Jam, and now it's finally happening. Actually, it would be unbelievable if Coogler was able to bring Michael B. Jordan into Space Jam 2 for some kind of cameo. One thing that seems certain is that both Bugs and Lola Bunny will be in the movie, judging by the image SpringHill Entertainment tweeted. Despite his personal attachment to the game, Space Jam was-as you might imagine-not a phenomenal game. "This will be James" first starring role in a film.

"Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler is set to produce the film and Terence Nance of "Random Acts of Flyness" will serve as director. The original 1996 live-action/animated movie starred basketball legend Michael Jordan. "Love that movie. Wish I could do Space Jam 2!". In 2015, he made an appearance in "Trainwreck" alongside Amy Schumer and Bill Hader.
