Opponents of the president have speculated that Trump obstructed the Russian Federation investigation, though there's no indication that any obstruction charges are forthcoming.
Trump on Wednesday said Mueller's report should be released to the public, even as he disparaged its very existence as "ridiculous".
It was a symbolic action created to pressure Barr into releasing as much information as possible.
Gohmert said Mueller, a lifelong registered Republican, enlisted "Democratic henchmen" like prosecutor Andrew Weissmann and others to probe Trump and his associates.
All Comey wants, he says, is for Mueller's long-awaited report to show that the United States justice system works.

Comey also said in the op-ed he does not want to see Trump impeached.
"I'm saying to myself, wait a minute, I just won one of the greatest elections of all time in the history of this country. and I have somebody writing the report who never got a vote, called the Mueller report". Rosenstein appointed Mueller, a former FBI director, to conduct the investigation.
In anticipation, Trump intensified his long-running campaign to question the legitimacy of Mueller, who is widely respected, and to undermine confidence in the report itself.
Mueller is required to produce a confidential report that at a minimum explains decisions about who was and was not prosecuted.
Trump's new attorney general, William Barr, committed during his January 15 confirmation hearing to releasing as much of the Mueller report as laws and regulations allow. And we'll see what happens.Читайте также: Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire issued with yellow warning by Met Office for wind
Barr said he was shocked to see the text messages between Strzok and Page.
Former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been probing Russian interference in the 2016 election for nearly two years.
The former Federal Bureau of Investigation director added: "I am rooting for a demonstration to the world - and maybe most of all to our president and his enablers - that the United States has a justice system that works because there are people who believe in it and rise above personal interest and tribalism".
Trump continued that effort Wednesday, calling Mueller "conflicted" and criticising the lawyers who have worked on the case.
As AP notes, Mueller is expected "any day now" to deliver his report, which will outline his findings on any alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, Trump campaign "collusion" with the Russians, and obstruction of justice by the president.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
