The city reported snowplows will start their work at 5 a.m. Sunday, March 10, and plow the entire city.

There are no guarantees, but this could be winter's last gasp, with two storm systems heading our way and bringing just a bit of snow to parts of New Jersey this weekend before a decent warmup gets under way next week. Very strong winds are also likely Saturday afternoon as northwest winds pick up into the 20 to 30mph range, along with gusts as high as 45mph.

There may be some sliding and blowing around taking place in the region Saturday night and Sunday.

Monday, snowplows will begin at 7 a.m. and do cleanup where cars were parked on the previous passes on east-west streets and haul snow from the downtown district.

Plan on slippery road conditions and limited visibility. Don't forget to set your clocks forward an hour.
