Fordham student dies after falling from clock tower

A 22-year-old student was killed after tripping and falling from Fordham University's clock tower.
The school said Monfries will get receive her bachelor's degree posthumously.
Fordham University confirmed the incident and sent a letter to students.
According to the university, Monfries was climbing the clock tower at approximately 3:15 a.m.to take a photo of the city skyline.
She was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in serious condition.
