Game of Thrones season 8, episode 2, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" coverage:- 'Game of Thrones": Emilia Clarke defends Dany's reaction to Jon's parentage- Maisie Williams discusses her surprise Gendry scene: "At first, I thought it was a prank...' . We know it's going to be directed by Miguel Sapochnik, the man behind Hardhome and Battle of the Bastards.
While the army of the Night King didn't actually show up until the very end of the episode, there was still a lot happening. Taking the holiday weekend into account and the fact that the April 21 data only includes two airings of GoT compared to last week's three airings due to length, "A Knight" dipped 8.2% from "Winterfell". Theon came by boat, presumably from somewhere near Dragonstone - it's a bit unclear where he had been - while Jaime rode the Kingsroad from King's Landing, a journey of 2,000 miles.
According to this theory, the Night King is going to attack King's Landing instead of Winterfell in the upcoming episode.
The obvious conclusion is that he must be riding a certain dragon up above.
Some are even of the belief that the Night King specifically headed for Winterfell for the first major battle because he wants to raise the dead, specifically an entity known as the Great Other who might be buried there.
Severe Storms Possible Thursday
Wake up temperatures on Friday morning are expected to be warm and humid although most of the morning hours should be dry. Heavy rain is likely as well, potentially dropping up to 2-3 inches widespread before sunrise Thursday .
Keep in mind those pesky theories of Bran turning into the Night King in the finale still keep persisting. One of the best theories related to the show is given by the users on Reddit.
In one of the visual, Daenerys scathingly tells Jon, "the dead are already here, ' which could mean that though she may not accept Jon's claim to the throne, she understands the bigger threat at hand was the undead knocking at Winterfell".
In season two's tenth episode Daenerys was plagued by a vision of the throne room completely destroyed and covered by a blanket of snow. It appears that Bran's plan hit the bull's eye and in an attempt to kill the three-eyed raven, the Night King indeed exposed himself.
