It's Too Soon To Assume Kevin Durant Will Be A Knick

There are a number of big-name free agents available, but arguably none would fit with what the Los Angeles Lakers need more than Klay Thompson.

"If they come with a five-year, $190 million max deal for Klay Thompson, that's done on July 1-he's going into the new building with Steph Curry", he added.

The Golden State Warriors are bracing themselves for a "seismic change" this summer with both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson entering free agency, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

It doesn't seem like most of the players bound for free agency will be back in a Warriors uniform next season. The Knicks have nearly $73 million in salary cap space this summer, the most in the league, which would allow them to sign two players to max deals.

The New York Knicks haven't made the playoffs since 2013, and are fresh off a 17-win season this year - the worst in the league.

Blue Jackets Go Up 2-1 over the Bruins
The Avalanche players understand that trying to match goals with the Sharks, more often than not, you will be eaten alive. Going 7-for-16 in their first round victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Bruins power play was a key for them.

But the good news for Warriors' fans is that the Rockets will be in trouble if the three-peat-seeking champions ever put together a solid game. His decision will not only impact the Knicks and Warriors, but other teams around the National Basketball Association. They are followed by the Raptors and Lakers, who are each at 20-1. Two other players who are still now competing in the NBA Playoffs along with Durant could certainly increase a teams championship odds for next season. Rumors have been swirling about Durant's future and if he were to stay, there is a scenario where the Warriors may ask Thompson to take a discount.

The Knicks have indicated that they will not sign for the sake of it and are not looking at this summer as the one shot to complete their rebuild.

"I'm told Klay Thompson-I have not spoken to Klay Thompson, in fairness to Klay Thompson, so let me be clear about that".

"I could see them at 12-1 [with Durant and Irving]", Sherman said. Similar to what happened with LeBron James this past summer.
