E3 2019: Nintendo predictions, rumors and expectations

Whether they show off those other games or not, there should be a lot to see at E3 this year from Nintendo.
Several core Xbox franchises are likely to form the pillars of a June 9 Media Briefing at E3 2019. The competitions will be live-streamed in English via Nintendo of Europe's E3 2019 website. But we'll start proceedings on the live blog an hour before.
Saturday - June 8th: The day will start with EA at 9:15 AM PT/ 12:15 PM ET.
Even before EA play begins, the publisher has had some news to share.
Then there are the rumoured games: maybe we'll see Fable 4, apparently in development over at Playground games (the same folks that are responsible for the Forza Horizon series).
Today, the company has gone a step further and revealed the exact games that will be playable on the show floor: Pokémon Sword and Shield, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (the upcoming remake, not the original), Luigi's Mansion 3, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Perhaps more details will be given about the streaming service Project xCloud and its next-generation hardware.

Square Enix will bring Monday to a close with its second-ever E3 conference at 6 P.M. PST/9 P.M. EST. And given the last two years, it isn't hard to imagine 2019's show following suit.
E3 2019's show floor is open June 11-13.
When is the Nintendo E3 Direct? News on Halo Infinite has been coming in a drip feed, and we're honestly not expecting to see the game launch until at least 2020.
