Heat and humidity brings the chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. Again, limited impacts are expected. "But as with Tuesday and Wednesday, scattered thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon and evening, capable of localized damaging winds". This pattern holds on through the end of the week, with slightly better chances for storms towards the weekend. Factor in the humidity and the heat index is reaching the upper 80s or low 90s.
