Lynch, who was in Seattle on Monday taking a physical, spent parts of six seasons with the Seahawks from 2010 to 2015.
Now, Beast Mode just might be back. This was a move initiated by Seattle due to the loss of their top three running backs (Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny and C.J. Prosise) due to injuries, nothing more, nothing less.
Pete Carroll on @710ESPNSeattle confirms Marshawn Lynch is flying in to meet with him #Seahawks, "there's a really good chance" he re-signs. Lynch's biggest pro, compared to the other options, would be his familiarity with the offense; he'd be a plug-and-play solution, whereas a RB like Anderson would need more time to learn the playbook. His last game was Week 6 of last season with the Oakland Raiders before a core injury ended his season. Prior to squeaking out their win over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday, the 49ers were on a three game losing streak and have already lost to Seattle at home earlier this season.
Remember, Lynch made the legendary run against the Saints that coined that very nickname. "There were some hard times with it because he challenged the system so much".
Turbin and Wilson were roommates on road trips and became close friends during the running back's three seasons in Seattle.
Turbin, 30, has only averaged 3.8 yards per carry during his career.

"Respond with a cute little Baby Yoda emoji to show that you think her little rascal is cute beyond words", the petition states. The Child , aka Baby Yoda , has been stealing much of the pop culture spotlight since The Mandalorian debuted last month.
Lynch may not be the only reunion for Seattle.
Turbin played in 48 regular-season games plus back-to-back Super Bowls for Seattle from 2012-14 as a fullback and change-of-pace tailback with Lynch.
Instead of wearing their standard road white jerseys with gold trousers, the team will bring back their 1994 all-white throwback uniforms they last wore October 27 against the Panthers, a source told The Bee.
Neither Lynch or Turbin have played in the National Football League this season.
The coach who first got to know Lynch recruiting him out of Oakland when Carroll was leading USC in the mid-2000s said he thinks Lynch "may have four or five games left in him".
"I have people come up speaking to me in languages".
