Trump's new remark had Twitter buzzing.
The footage, shot by the British host's pool camera, quickly spread across the internet and broadcast by global media such as Fox News and the New York Times, with observers suggesting Trudeau and the other leaders were mocking Trump, who has previously lashed out at perceived slights. 'And then you know what they'll say?' he asked, in the accidentally recorded aside "He didn´t do a press conference! He didn't do a press conference!'"
The prickly president's honor was apparently satisfied by this, as he was later overheard on a second hot mic boasting: 'That was amusing when I said that guy was two-faced'.

Meanwhile, both Trump's domestic critics and the hostile mainstream press were busy hyping the president's early departure as a sign he is mentally unstable, a thin-skinned "snowflake", and "privately viewed with a mixture of mirth and alarm" (The Guardian).
"That looks like the Princess Royal next to Trudeau.her hairstyle for sure".
During a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday, Trump was asked about Trudeau's comments, to which the US president responded: "He's two-faced".
"Honestly, with Trudeau he's a nice guy, I find him to be a very nice guy", Trump said, speaking at a press conference alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel. "With Trudeau, he's a nice guy". He's not paying 2% and he should be paying 2%. A lot more money is being produced by a lot of countries and they are enthusiastic about it.
REPORTER: Have you seen the video of Prime Minster Trudeau talking about you? In a remarkable development, President Trump elected to share his working lunch with just those his official schedule recognised to be "2%ers" - member states that actually achieve their NATO treaty obligations.
It turned into an nearly hour-long, frenzied press conference, which the world leaders later appeared to mock.

Trump retaliated by saying the French economy was in tatters and that the United States would respond to a tax on American tech giants by placing levies on French goods. His return to Washington, DC, comes in the middle of another public House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearing.
