Unnao rape victim's death: Sister demands govt job

In related news, Samajwadi Party leader and Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is at present sitting on a "dharna" outside Vidhan Sabha in protest against Unnao rape case.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital from where she was referred to the civil hospital in Lucknow where she was admitted in a plastic surgery burn unit. She was rescued by her uncle who heard her scream.

The woman died on Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest, Shalabh Kumar, the head of burns and plastic department at New Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital, told Reuters. She succumbed to death due to her injuries at 11.40 pm.
