Frank Lampard "surprised" by links to Lyon striker Moussa Dembélé

Giroud has agreed personal terms with Inter, who are yet to meet Chelsea's £8.5m asking price, but selling him would leave Lampard with Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi as his only senior forwards. Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and Red Bull Leipzig's Timo Werner are unlikely to be available until the summer and Lyon's chairman, Jean-Michel Aulas, this week publicly ruled out selling Moussa Dembélé.

"There are a lot of things in football and the squad that are a risk, otherwise you would line up three or four of the best players in each position", said Lampard. He's a player I respect.

I do have competition in that area so he's played a few games here and there but I know he wants to play more and I get that. "I like Andreas as a player", he said.

"I don't think he should be in a rush Frank just to go out there because all of a sudden he's been given a transfer kitty of £100m-plus, I don't think he should rush it".

Confirmed: Taiwanese Top Military Official Killed in Helicopter Crash
Authorities had launched a rescue mission after aviation authorities lost contact with the chopper on Thursday morning. She also asked Minister of National Defense Yen De-fa to ensure stable defense operations in the wake of the crash.

He added: "We've come into a period that is a testing one for us because it is absolutely affecting those home results that we are not being clinical enough and when you see that we are creating chances, there's a plus, we are getting crosses into the box, we are getting shots at goal and then you go, why not?" If I feel the decision is to keep everybody in the January window that will be my decision too. "We need everybody because football can change very quickly".

"With Oli the situation is if it's right for everybody - and first and foremost that's the club because he's under contract - then we'll look at whether he can leave", he said, as per Sky Sports.

"Everyone is talking about it so I'm not going to beat around the bush".

"It is our job to look at it, be honest with the players, recreate outside as much as we can and repeat and work on it". "But until we decide it's the right thing then it's not done". "Nothing is close at the moment, we're not imminent and there won't be any big news today or tomorrow".
