Impeachment: New trove of documents link Nunes to Parnas

An aide to Rudy Giuliani claims President Trump "knew exactly what was going on" regarding efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating former Vice-President Joe Biden and his son.

Lev Parnas, an associate of Rudy Giuliani, made several potentially explosive claims in a televised interview on Wednesday night with USA broadcaster MSNBC.

Pompeo said he did not know and had never met Parnas.

Interviewed on MSNBC, the Florida businessman insisted Mr Trump was "aware of all my movements".

The new materials draw Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, even further into the efforts undertaken by Giuliani and his associates to push out Yovanovitch in Ukraine and dig up dirt on the President's political rivals.

The documents released on Tuesday included encrypted messages between Parnas, a Florida businessman, and Robert F. Hyde, a Republican congressional candidate in CT, disparaging Yovanovitch and apparently providing updates on her movements in Kiev.

The messages come after an earlier document publication had shown Hyde a text with Parnas about the apparent surveillance.

The Government Accounting Office issued its report finding that President Trump and his staff did in fact break federal law when they withheld $214 million in aid Congress had authorized for Ukraine in its conflict with Russian-sponsored separatist forces.

Parnas, who Maddow had frequently talked about on her show, spoke about his belief of Trump's knowledge about what Giuliani was doing in the Ukraine. "I think it was like a boost to them to help him if the media started, like, egging him on that there was really something there, he'd just tweet and fire her".

Jeopardy! ‘Greatest of All Time’ match will crown show's biggest victor
With that said, I'm going to predict Brad winning in six matches, with James taking two matches, and Ken capturing one match. Trebek, who will host The Greatest of All Time , recently said that he has rehearsed his final goodbye on the show .

Democrats in the House had Yovanovitch testify amid the impeachment inquiry into Trump's dealings with Ukraine in November.

"And in the documents that we submitted to the Judiciary Committee just last night, you see the importance of documents", Rep. Adam B. Schiff, a House manager and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said this week.

"I thought he was an honourable man".

Trump previous year removed Yovanovitch as ambassador and later denounced her in a call with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky that triggered his impeachment.

Some of the documents that Parnas released suggested that Yovanovitch may have been under threat.

Meanwhile, Mr Trump's impeachment began yesterday, with House Democrats reading formal charges in the US Senate.

"We are at trump with Rudy and John Salomon (sic).in private room", He wrote.

The messages show that a Trump donor named Robert F. Hyde disparaged Ms Yovanovitch in messages to Mr Parnas and gave him updates on her location and mobile phone use.
