Google Seeks Huawei Trade Exemption

Ahead of that launch, the company has quietly announced a Lite variant in the series called the Huawei P40 Lite. With over 350 million Huawei phones users to date, there are more than 1,700 Quick Apps released globally, a 200 per cent growth year-on-year.

Huawei plans on almost doubling that number by aiming to have 73 top local apps that are most used by Huawei customers to be integrated with its AppGallery by March 2020, before the launch of its flagship phone, Huawei P40, Khing Seng said. However, the software is built around the Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) core and not Google Mobile Services (GMS) core, which means no access to essential Google services like Play Store, Gmail, and Maps among others.
According to Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, the company has a presence in over half of the USA states, but it intends to target 11 states, namely Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Oklahoma, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, California and Washington, with this new investment. We also don't know where else the phone will be on sale, but we don't expect it to come to the United States considering Huawei often doesn't introduce its phones in that market.
