Coronavirus: LA County Reports Largest Single-Day Spike with 25 New Cases

In a briefing last week, Dr Tony Holohan, Chief Medical Officer with the Department of Health, indicated that the numbers had risen to the extent that county breakdowns could soon be provided without the potential for breaching patient confidentiality.
Shortly after the Bear River Health Department reported the confirmed case of COVID-19 in Box Elder County on Tuesday, the state epidemiologist Angela Dunn provided the daily update on the virus's spread in Utah. As with all new cases, Ferrer explained that those individuals are now isolated as are their close contacts.
Though the number of cases continues to grow, that does not mean that social distancing and other preventative measures are not working, explained Dr. Barbara Ferrer, director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. "We tested a bunch of people and it went great, we were practicing to see how long it would take whether the equipment was going to work, but everything worked beautifully", Dannenhoffer said.
