Apple unveils plans to reopen some United States stores

The company said Friday it will require "additional safety procedures, including temperature checks, social distancing and face coverings to ensure customers and employees continue to stay healthy".
"We're excited to begin reopening stores in the USA next week", the company said in a statement reported by multiple media outlets. Stores also focus more on repairing products and making goods for pick-up than on-store sales, says Apple, which has released several products over the past two months through a press release and then sold them on its website. Apple had reportedly aimed to reopen at least some of its USA stores as soon as the first half of April.
Initial openings of select stores will happen in Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama and Alaska, with precautions to avoid crowding.

Apple executives have said they are examining local health data at the county and city level in each community where the company has physical stores to determine when to reopen.
However, even in those countries where Apple Stores have reopened, it's not business as usual yet.
Specialists from Apple Store locations all over the world - ranging from London, to Singapore, to Boston - reportedly put together videos from their homes ranging in length from three minutes to five.
Apple stores outside the USA have already begun to reopen. Social distancing remains in effect, and Apple's employees must wear face masks. Apple stores tend to draw crowds, and serve as destinations in many shopping malls.
Apple are now recommending that people order online for delivery or in-store pickup to limit personal contact.
