After the performance, Krasinski thanked the couple for giving joy to all the couples who have had to change their wedding plans due to the pandemic: "Thank you so much for being a part of this, you're not only good sports and a attractive couple, but you also represent all the lovely couples in the world who are going through the exact same thing".
On his weekly quarantine series, Some Good News, Office alum John Krasinski cued up a montage of some of the socially distant ways that couples have been tying the knot during the pandemic. "Just like Jim, he couldn't wait any longer", the new bride said about the sweet proposal. When John was ready to pop the question to his now-fiancée, he got down on one knee outside a gas station/convenience store, just like Halpert did when he asked Pam Beesly in the series. The actor also reunited his The Office cast to surprise the couple. He informed the couple that he'd been ordained to marry them online and surprised them with the virtual wedding, including their parents and a star-studded wedding party in the ceremony. He wrote a song for the couple and played it acoustically in place of Susan being walked down the aisle by her father.
The cast of The Office helped a Maryland couple celebrate their marriage in true Dunder-Mifflin style, by recreating the very memorable procession at Jim and Pam's own wedding.
Russian Federation reports 9,623 new COVID-19 cases in a day
Fifty eight people died over the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 1,280. Moscow recorded 5,358 new cases, bringing the capital's total tally to 62,658.
Even popular country singer Zac Brown made a brief appearance at the wedding.
"There's only one way out of this wedding. And Susan and John, because you elegantly ripped off our proposal, I think it's only fitting that you rip off the wedding too", said John. In addition to Krasinski we got to see Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Ed Helms, Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Creed Bratton, Brian Baumgartner, and yes, Steve Carell.
