What we know about Tara Reade's allegation against Joe Biden

"I remember talking about him wanting me to serve drinks because he liked my legs and thought I was pretty and it made me uncomfortable", Reade told the wire service in an interview Friday.

The RNC chairwoman noted that polls conducted before the coronavirus pandemic showed voters approved of Trump's management of the economy, which she said will be needed during the current economic downturn.

Jeffress said his lawyers interviewed dozens of people and had access to any paperwork they requested from Biden's office. The AP interviewed Reade in 2019 after she accused Biden of uncomfortable and inappropriate touching.

The Senate complaint is a key document in the allegations, but it has yet to be revealed publicly, or even acknowledged whether it exists. The former vice president has asked the secretary of the Senate to help locate the document, per The Hill, and to then make the complaint public.

A second-term state representative from Manchester has resigned from his position over a statement made on Twitter.

On Friday, Reade said she was referring to having "chickened out" by not filing full harassment or assault allegations against Biden.

Odeon Cinemas Owner Bans Universal Films Over Trolls Home Release
The studio says it believes in the theatrical experience but wants to release future films on-demand when it makes sense. It made $100 million in its first three weeks in the USA alone - more than the original Trolls movie did in cinemas.

In both the NYT and AP investigations, multiple people Reade claimed she told of the assault denied she had done so or didn't recall it.

She maintains that she neither has a copy of the complaint nor remembers specific details of its content, telling NBC News she is "not sure" what wording she used. Reade also said she canceled a planned television interview with "Fox News Sunday" because of security concerns. "And he's been equally clear that when women come forward with complaints of this nature they should be taken seriously, their complaints should be investigated, and they should be treated with dignity and he's done exactly that". Biden acknowledged the complaints and promised to be "more mindful about respecting personal space in the future".

She has called on Biden to release documents from his archives at the University of Delaware. "I know Joe Biden, and I've watched his defense, and there's not a pattern that goes into this and I think that for these reasons I'm very comfortable that Joe Biden is who he says he is". Last month, she filed a complaint with police in Washington DC. "They were dismissive and hurtful to survivors of sexual assault across the Granite State and across the country". Trump has faced multiple accusations of assault and harassment, all of which he denies.

"I am saying unequivocally it never, never happened, and it didn't". Jeffress told Bloomberg News on Saturday that neither Reade's name nor her allegations came up.

Tara Reade, a former Senate staffer for Biden in the 1990s, was one of several women who previous year accused Biden of uncomfortable kissing, hugging or touching.

One friend, who knew Reade in 1993, said Reade told them about the alleged assault when it happened.
